 About Us Parish Imaging is the only MRI in St. Bernard Parish and is the closest MRI to those living in St. Bernard, New Orleans East, Plaquemines, parts of the city of New Orleans (east of the industrial canal), and even parts of coastal Mississippi. The Parish Imaging Difference Traditional Magnetic Resonance Imaging Systems have a bad reputation. Even if you've never had an MRI performed before, you may associate the process with being placed inside a small, uncomfortable and noisy machine. However, at Parish Imaging, we use the Neusoft .35T Super Open MRI System which is a permanent magnet that is open in four directions and is on the cutting edge of Imaging Systems Technology. The Neusoft .35T Super Open MRI is quieter than closed bore systems and its spacious design provides a more comfortable experience for all patients but most especially for the claustrophobic, obese and others who are physically challenged. When we say open, we mean open! Our Open MRI, The Neusoft .35T Super Open MRI system allows for our patients to have a truly comfortable experience. Parish Imaging accepts most major commerical insurances. We are open 8:00AM - 5:00PM. Monday through Friday but will see patients on nights and weekends by appointment only.
